Arts education at Kenowa Hills is an integral part of both our school culture and entire community. Through music, theater and visual arts, we share performances, creativity, and collaborate through the engaging learning environment that is created through art.
Students at Kenowa Hills begin experiencing art as young as kindergarten as they learn to express themselves through a variety of visual art and build an appreciation for and foundation for its history. Music classes and performances also begin in kindergarten and have become a valuable aspect to the learning experience, building community among peers.
Our award-winning secondary programs have continued to grow and garner a reputation of excellence. Orchestra, performing arts, and our Marching Knights are a point of pride for Kenowa Hills and draw audiences from all over the Grand Rapids area.
Ongoing performances in our beautiful Performing Arts Center are shared by students, community, and family-members alike.
Our Personal Mastery educational experience has redefined education and has gained attention around the state and nation. Personal Mastery provides your child with personalized attention from teachers. Instead of teaching to a broad group of students without understanding of their individual strengths and weaknesses, Personal Mastery allows teachers to interact with students individually or in small groups to help them better address their weaknesses. In this way, we strive to help your child reach their full potential.PERSONAL MASTERY SPECIAL EDUCATION ENGLISH LEARNERS TECHNOLOGY IN THE CLASSROOM
