Hello Families,

What a beautiful Spring-like day! Don't forget, Spring brings unpredictable weather, mud and of course... standardized testing.

Now is a great time to inventory! Does your student still have all the following items at school?

-Clean gym shoes that fit
-A set of clothes to keep in the locker
-A working pair of headphones (testing starts after Spring Break)
-A water bottle
-A coat or jacket (still required when the outside temp is below 50 degrees)

I hope you enjoy some beautiful sunshine this weekend. I love sunblock season! 😄

Central Elementary News February 7

Hello Central Families,

This month we are learning to care for our Mental Health by Painting Kenowa Green.  Paint Kenowa Green is our Mental Health Awareness Initiative that we run through the month of February. We chose green because the green ribbon is the international symbol for mental health awareness. During this month, we aim to start meaningful conversations about mental health, reduce stigma, and provide support for those who may be struggling.

Through various activities and events, we encourage students, staff, and the community to engage in conversations, raise awareness, and promote mental well-being for everyone. Together, we can create a more understanding and supportive environment for all. Let's Paint Kenowa Green and spread the message of hope and support!

This past week we focused on Collaboration and Team-Work.
