Dear Kenowa Hills Families,

It has been another great week at Kenowa Hills High School. As our winter sports season begins to wind down, we want to thank our student-athletes, coaches, and families for their dedication and support. We are proud of the way our teams have represented our school this winter. Before long, we will be shifting our focus and gearing up for an exciting spring sports season.

We are also heading into Mid-Winter Break. There will be no school for students on Friday, Monday, and Tuesday. While students enjoy a well-deserved break, our staff will be engaged in professional development on Monday and Tuesday as we continue working to strengthen instruction and support for all learners.

Thank you for your continued partnership and support of Kenowa Hills High School.

Sincerely,
Nathan Robrahn
Principal

From the Principal’s Desk

Dear Kenowa Hills High School Families,

It’s been a busy week at Kenowa Hills High School. We hosted a wrestling quad earlier this week with Coopersville, Greenville, and Lowell, and our wrestling team travels to Lowell tonight for the individual conference tournament. We wish our athletes the best as they represent Kenowa Hills.

Our cheer team hosted the RCA Championship on Thursday, earning an impressive second-place finish. The event was a success thanks to the dedication of our athletes, coaches, and supportive families.

The Varsity Ski Team competed in a conference race at Cannonsburg on Thursday. Freshman Erin Hughes placed 6th in both Giant Slalom and Slalom, freshman Will Hughes finished 16th in Giant Slalom and 14th in Slalom, and senior Micaela Vandenbosch earned a 5th-place finish in JV Giant Slalom. The team returns to Cannonsburg on Monday for Regionals with hopes of advancing to the State Championships.

A reminder to all families: Count Day is next Wednesday, February 11.

We are also looking forward to the Swirl Dance this Saturday. Our Student Council has worked hard to plan a fun and enjoyable evening for our students.

Sincerely,
Nathan Robrahn
Principal

From the Principal’s Desk

Dear Kenowa Hills High School Families,

This week has been a very difficult one for our school community as we grieve the tragic loss of two of our students. Our hearts go out to their families, friends, and all who are affected by this loss.

Please know that support is available at school. Our counselors and staff are here for any students or families who may need help during this time.

We have also felt the impact of winter with several snow days over the past few weeks, and we are hopeful as we look ahead to a warmer stretch of weather next week.

We encourage you to join us this weekend for the Kozminski Games as we come together to raise funds and support our school community.

Thank you for your continued care and compassion.

Sincerely,
Nathan Robrahn
Principal
