First, this weekend you will notice the complex will be full of Gus Macker basketball teams competing in a 3-on-3 tournament!

Then next week is our Homecoming festivities. We will start on Monday with our PowderPuff game and continue throughout the week with Spirit Days and other games during the day.

Hello Kenowa Families,

It has been another positive week and we are settling into our routine of school again.

A few reminders to please call (or email) the attendance line if a student is going to be out for any part of the day. Also, please continue to push students who drive to be on time and leave a bit earlier. We know that attendance is important and a major part of student success. Thanks for your help.

This newsletter is filled with lots of information again. We are excited to host the Gus Macker 3-on-3 basketball tournament this next weekend. Homecoming is also coming soon and there is information in this newsletter.

Finally, I wanted to let you know that we do have Parent/Teacher conferences on our calendar. The first date is September 26. That date is reserved for some invite-only conferences. We know that after 6 weeks we need to assess how well students are doing and can put a plan together to assist. That is our focus for this date. If you feel your student may benefit from such a meeting, please reach out to Andrea Britton to see if we can get your student on the schedule. We will have our other conferences in October and those are open to everyone.

Thanks again for your partnership and have a great weekend.

Nate

Hello Kenowa Families,

Thanks for another great week of school.

We were able to have our class meetings this week and I am very impressed with how our students are able to care for each other and have some pride in themselves and the school community. I am looking forward to a great year with all of our students and staff!

We have had a positive start to the year and we appreciate your trust and partnership with our school.

In this newsletter, we have some updates and reminders. Thanks for reading through these each week. If you ever have any questions, please feel free to reach out to the main office.

We do have a home varsity football game tonight and this will be the first time to see our new field and scoreboard. The boosters will also be available and selling their new Kenowa Hills Gear! See their trailer on the way into the game.

Have a great long weekend and enjoy the Labor Day holiday.

Nate
