You may get your tickets online at khps.org/pac, all tickets are $10. We will be doing another lost and found dump at the end of next week. If you think your student might be missing an item please tell them to check lost and found! Have a great weekend!

Athletics Entrance

As we start athletic competitions next week for some of our winter 1 sports, please use door #27 as it is our temporary athletic entrance until after the holiday break. There are signs noting the parking and entrance location, thank you for your cooperation as we get through this construction phase!!

Athletics Participation & Attendance
Athletes must be in school for the entire day to be eligible to compete in a scheduled practice or athletic event. In extreme situations, arrangements must be made with the Athletic Director and/or the Building Principal to acquire an excused absence. Scheduled appointments and funerals are an acceptable reason to be pre-excused. A medical/scheduled appointment note must be given to the athletic office if the appointment is during the scheduled school day.

Upcoming Dates:
November 17: End of Trimester 1
November 20-24: Thanksgiving Break

Hello KHMS! We hope everyone has come off of the sugar highs/lows and back to feeling “normal” after all of the Halloween treats! With that, since we just had our first snowfall event and the cold air looms, please know, our students do wait outside before the doors open at 7:30 and we will continue to have outdoor recess/activities as weather permits. We are well aware middle schoolers think dressing warmly is not a thing and shorts, tanks, no coats are perfectly fine attire at 20 degrees, good luck with that battle!🙂

Hello KHMS! Congratulations and amazing work to our band and orchestra students who had their Halloween performance this past week. They did a superb job showing off their hard work and talents up on the big stage, bravo!! The last page of this newsletter has a few pictures capturing the event.

We are excited to announce we will be back to using Smartpass next week. We did a test run last spring and it was well received. More information and details are below. There have been many students leaving throughout the day as of late. We ask you to please call ahead to have those students get a pass so it is less disruptive in the classroom. There are details of this and our attendance policy below. Have a great weekend, stay warm and dry!
