A NOTE FROM MR. DODGE

Dear Kenowa Hills Middle School Families,

As we begin a new trimester, remember that the learning from last trimester doesn’t end. Students’ grades have been moved over to the new trimester with the understanding that they can continue to work on mastering any concepts that they have struggled with.  Please encourage your student to seek help from teachers if needed to strengthen their understanding.  Student report cards will be coming home today so that you can see their progress.

This month, our SEL curriculum focuses on self-control. We will be looking for students that continually demonstrate self-control and celebrate their efforts by providing them with GOLD Cards. Here is an activity you can do with your students at home to support their learning on this topic.

Parking lot safety continues to remain a concern, specifically during the morning drop off. We had staff monitoring the parking lot this week. Please review the safety reminders in this newsletter to help ensure student safety.

We are still looking for people for the Middle School Parent/School Partnership Group to support fundraising, volunteering, communication, and student needs. If interested, please complete the linked survey.

Last but not least, we have our Middle School Band/Orchestra concert this coming Thursday (12/12/24). Please come out and support our student musicians.

Thank you for your continued support,

Mr. Dodge

Parking lot safety remains a concern, particularly during morning drop-off. Please review the safety reminders in this newsletter to help ensure student safety.

We are starting a Middle School Parent/School Partnership to support fundraising, volunteering, communication, and student needs. If interested, please complete the linked survey below.

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving week, and thank you for your continued support!

Our Personal Mastery educational experience has redefined education and has gained attention around the state and nation. Personal Mastery provides your child with personalized attention from teachers. Instead of teaching to a broad group of students without an understanding of their individual strengths and weaknesses, Personal Mastery allows teachers to interact with students individually or in small groups to help them better address their weaknesses.
