WE ARE KIDS WHO CARE!
2022-23 Theme: Zinser All-Stars
Thank you to all those who came to our Literacy Night on Tuesday. We had a great turnout! It’s been since 2019 since we’ve had a literacy night with the pandemic. A big thanks to Mrs. Philo and our staff, Grange Valley State University students who led activities, and our Walker KDL library for all being a part of the night!
Read-A-Thon
Zinser Elementary is proud to present our BIGGEST fundraiser of the year!
To celebrate Reading Month this year, Zinser will be hosting a Read-a-Thon to get students excited to read and raise funds for all of the cool things we do throughout the year! All of the funds raised will go directly back to the students and staff at Zinser Elementary to help purchase supplies for classrooms, fund field trips, provide for holiday celebrations, special events and so much more!
Each student will earn prizes based on individual donation amounts but the fun doesn't stop there!! There will be a reading minute competition between classrooms and a school-wide PJ Reading Party on March 24th to celebrate all of the hard work from our students!
IMPORTANT EVENTS
Talent Show: Thursday, March 23rd 1:30 pm and 6:30 pm
Goodies with Grandparents: May 12th
Field Day: May 25

Thank you for everyone's patience and cooperation as we navigated through the loss of our internet and phones for part of the week!
Last week Friday we celebrated our February Care Card and classroom Student of the Month winners! Also, great job to Natalie Deyman for earning our school-wide Student of the Month! Amazing Job Zinser students! We are kids who care!
Next Friday, March 17th is a half day. Students will be dismissed at 12:05.
A reminder that if you haven't already, please sign your child(ren) up for our Read-A-Thon Fundraiser. If our school raises $20,000 Mr. Willick agreed to sleep on the school's roof!

Happy Friday!
We are wrapping up parent/teacher conferences today. Thank you to all those that participated.
Yesterday we kicked off our Read-a-Thon - if you haven't done so already, please sign your child(ren) up at mybooster.com
Your child(ren) will receive a prize once they are signed up! They have some pretty clever marketing ideas to get donations. If we raise $20,000 Mr. Willick has agreed to sleep on the roof!

The middle school team is so excited to have incoming 5th grade parents and caretakers at the PAC this Tuesday, March 7th from 6-7pm. This will last until 6:30pm. From there we will break into small groups, for a short question and answer period, with guest speakers from our student council until 7pm!

Personal Mastery provides your child with personalized attention from teachers. Instead of teaching to a broad group of students without an understanding of their individual strengths and weaknesses, Personal Mastery allows teachers to interact with students individually or in small groups to help them better address their weaknesses.
