KENOWA HILLS ZINSER ELEMENTARY RECEIVES CAPTURING KIDS’ HEARTS NATIONAL SHOWCASE SCHOOLS® AWARD FOR THE 2021-22 SCHOOL YEAR.

Grand Rapids, MI – Kenowa Hills Public Schools is proud to announce that Zinser Elementary was once again one of a select group of schools that has received the Capturing Kids’ Hearts National Showcase Schools® award for the 2021-2022 school year. It is the second year in a row Zinser has received this honor.
National Showcase Schools are chosen annually through a rigorous selection process that includes measuring key performance indicators, gathering school data, and surveying staff and students. Capturing Kids’ Hearts celebrates campuses where educators are exceeding expectations and creating an environment where students feel safe, connected, and eager to learn despite the challenges this year.
“We are incredibly honored to be recognized for the second year in a row by Capturing Kids’ Hearts and I couldn’t be prouder of our staff and students,” said Principal Ross Willick. “Being awarded a National Showcase School for Capturing Kids’ Hearts is a direct result of the Kids Who Careculture we’ve built in our building.”
Capturing Kids' Hearts® is a nationally recognized program that equips K-12 professionals to implement practices focused on social-emotional wellbeing and relationship-driven culture through training, a Social Emotional Learning (SEL) curriculum, and personalized support.
