Paint Kenowa Green
Get ready to make a statement and support an incredible cause! The Kenowa Hills Middle School Mental Health Club is thrilled to announce our exclusive t-shirt for Paint Kenowa Green, our annual mental health awareness and education initiative! Imagine wearing a unique word cloud design that captures what mental health truly means to our middle schoolers. Each shirt tells a story of resilience, growth, and the journey to "glow up and show up". These aren't just ordinary tees - they're a powerful expression of our students' voices.

By purchasing this awesome shirt, you're not just adding a cool piece to your wardrobe.

You're:

  • Amplifying student voices
  • Supporting the Paint Kenowa Green initiative at our school
  • Helping create a more supportive and understanding community

Throughout February, our school will be transformed into a sea of green, hosting a variety of educational and uplifting activities to promote mental health awareness and positivity. Your t-shirt purchase directly contributes to making this initiative even more impactful!

STEM Academy
The 8th graders in the STEM Academy recently completed their hydraulics projects. Students worked in groups to create a hydraulic machine that served a purpose and were operated by water-filled syringes. The STEM Academy students hosted a showcase last week for students, parents, and staff. It was so exciting to see their creativity and innovation!

Toys for Tots
8th graders were treated to a brownie ice cream sundae buffet last Friday for winning the Toys for Tots competition. Thank you to these amazing volunteers pictured who came to organize, scoop ice cream, and clean up. 8th graders were so excited for such a fun treat and many commented on what a great job the parent volunteers did. A huge thank you to all of the families who donated toppings, bowls, spoons, tablecloths, and water. Your support was amazing! A thank you to our Student Council as well for providing the ice cream.

Congratulations Mrs. White!
Mrs.White was awarded a grant through Tanger Outlet to support the Environmental Studies class at the Middle School. This money will be used to purchase trail cams to help support a new Ornithology unit as well as the education area that her class will be starting this spring.

LEARNING

Our Personal Mastery educational experience has redefined education and has gained attention around the state and nation. Personal Mastery provides your child with personalized attention from teachers. Instead of teaching to a broad group of students without an understanding of their individual strengths and weaknesses, Personal Mastery allows teachers to interact with students individually or in small groups to help them better address their weaknesses. In this way, we strive to help your child reach their full potential.
