In order to celebrate March is Reading Month, Student Council is sponsoring two activities:

  • Reading competition - For every chapter book that a student reads in March, they may enter a drawing to win a $25 gift card to Barnes and Noble. The directions, forms, and box to put the forms in are located in the lobby. The forms include some information to fill out related to the book. The contest runs from March 1 - March 28. Two winners will be drawn randomly for the $25 gift cards to Barnes & Noble.
  • Mystery book passages - Starting Monday, March 3, Mrs. Haines will read a passage from a mystery book during connect class. This will be twice a week on Mondays and Fridays. Connect classes can try to guess the book and author for a chance to win prizes! Student council is also sponsoring a door and classroom decorating contest with the theme of Under the Sea. The three connect classes with the best designs will win a yummy treat! All decorating must be complete by March 13.

LEARNING

Our Personal Mastery educational experience has redefined education and has gained attention around the state and nation. Personal Mastery provides your child with personalized attention from teachers. Instead of teaching to a broad group of students without an understanding of their individual strengths and weaknesses, Personal Mastery allows teachers to interact with students individually or in small groups to help them better address their weaknesses. In this way, we strive to help your child reach their full potential.
